InDesign
The client had an old graphic profile (consisting of a few lines in a word document) and wanted to create a new branding.
The old branding was based on a dark theme but the client wanted something more light, positive and modern. I therefore decided to use their existing turquoise as the main color, replacing the dark greys with a deep blue and adding a contrasting accent color in a warm yellow tone.
I chose to use icons to represent "things" like smart sensors, gateways, fiber, etc., to reinforce what the company sells (IoT- and internet services). In order to convey what the company stands for, print and web imagery and photos should be welcoming and personal.
The most challenging part: Selling the updated look and getting the whole company to share the vision for the revamped branding (and being open to some splashes of color).
The most fun part: Hearing that the revised look felt like a huge update and just right for the company.
InDesign, Photoshop (for image editing)
I've designed and layouted financial reports for the IoT-company TH1NG. The goal was to create a positive and warm feeling based on their graphic manual.
The most challenging part: Creating a layout template that would work for all of their financial reports.
The most fun part: For some reason I find it enjoyable to edit the financial tables. You also have to be really thorough and focused when working with financial reports to minimize errors, which I like.
InDesign, Illustrator (for icon design)
I created a template in InDesign that would work for different products and services. The goal was to highlight the title and guide the user directly to the three main unique selling points for the products.
The most challenging part: Fitting a lot of information but still making it easy for the reader by splitting the layout into clear sections.
The most fun part: Interviewing the product owners to understand the product and getting to use my copywriter and technical writing skills to produce the copy for the sheets.

Sticker: The client wanted a sticker to mark products that were certified with their IoT platform. I decided to merge their three business areas (society, property and industry) and represent them as a city skyline.
Roll ups: The client wanted roll ups that could be reused at different events and to work as a backdrop.
Illustrator
I've designed various icons using Illustrator to represent smart IoT sensors, SIM cards, services and other technical equipment.
